New Bike

I am pretty excited. I broke down and bought a decent new bike because I figured it would probably actually same me money on gas if I ride it down to the airport as often as possible. But it's also going to be a ton of fun to ride single track on too. Anybody want to go this weekend? 'cause with it being labor day weekend and all I would be all for that.

Well, I was so excited when I was riding down to the airport this morning that I didn't notice that the huge bottle of H2O2 (yeah I don't know how to spell hydrogen peroxide.... or maybe I do.... that looks right) that I had in my pitiful first aid kit for when I fall off my bike and die had broken open and flooded my backpack, books and work clothes and all, with the tangy smelling liquid. All through my first class I kept wondering why it kind of smelled like a hospital in there. I was kind of bummed once I figured out what happened. But most of my first aid stuff was in water proof bags so it came out alright. The same really couldn't be said for my books though. And I'm sure I wasn't exactly making a stunning impression at work with a huge orange stain on my white dress shirt and Eu' de Hydrogen Peroxide floating around me. Go Boilers!

Carnage from the mountain biking trip two weekends ago

Considering the frame was really the only good piece left of this bike, I think it's done for. It was an awesome mountain biking trip though!

Went to the Indy Air show Saturday with Josh. We met up with Eric, Greg, Brad and Mr. Filson Once we got there. It was tons of fun, even with the little bit of rain.

The Senior Year Begins......

No, I didn't fall into the dark ages and forget what a computer is or how to use it over the summer, I just really never felt like updating a crazy blog when I could be spending my limited time outside work doing things that were a worlds more fun and rewarding. Come to think of it what am I doing on here now? ;) Well, summer was great. Really long but great. I was driving up to Lafayette just about every week to flight instruct, but that still left plenty of time to catch up with everyone back in Indy and get some family time as well. There are so many cool memories from this summer I couldn't even begin to cover 'em all.

This past weekend was awesome though...... mountain biking at valley branch retreat near Nashville and then recovering over at my Grandparents place down there with some tubing on the lake and watching, uh, half of "The Patriot" lol ( I really want to see the rest of that now). I can't believe how long some of you people help onto the tube. Needless to say, we all went home well bruised and tired, but it was fun. That was the final bike trip for my bike though, as I found out riding back from class today. Apparently I fractured the frame one the trip and it proceeded to slowly rip apart as I rode back from class today. Must be time to save my pennies and dimes and upgrade. I have some pics from the biking and of my fractured bike I'll have to put up some time.

Well, I was thinking about all you IUPUI and Ivy Techers and Bulldogs and Marion college people and .... I think that's about it but it seems like I'm missing one, but yeah I was praying for y'all Wed. as y'all got back into school. I could totally sympathize, cause my head was still spinning after I tried to start thinking again for our first day of classes on Monday.

Alright I better get to it here, so that's all for now.
